have you ever been so attracted to someone that every little thing they do kills you because they’re so cute but it also kills you because you can’t be with them

I’ve learned this year that life is a lot more complicated than it seems. Some things in life are just absurd, but growing up, we’re taught to accept that into our society. From being skinny is beautiful, to being mean makes you popular, some things that we’re brought up to believe in life just don’t make sense. They don’t teach you how to do your bills in school, or how to develop relationships in a field of work, but you’re darn right that they teach you the Pythagorean Theorem. That doesn’t make sense to me, how in school they don’t teach you how to live. They barely teach you how to exist. Out of this, however, I learned something valuable. No matter how many people tell you how to live your life, there’s only one person that you’ve got to listen to. You have to listen to yourself. Society says that to live you need to meet certain standards, but to live… to truly live, the only standards that you need to meet are your own, or else you aren’t truly living. That’s what I learned about life. Life by Anonymous

If it weren’t for books and movies I’d literally have no clue how the whole relationship thing worked so thank you to those who make this happen

literally don’t tell someone they’re not smart just because they’re educated in things that aren’t measured in test scores oh my god.

sometimes when i feel lonely, i remember everyone that used to care about me, and for a second i forget that everything has changed, and for a second I don’t feel lonely anymore, but as soon as I remember everything i just end up with a bigger hole in my heart than I had before.
